The Grimsteel Reaver is one of many powerful artifacts that have been lost throughout Aranna. It was created as a gift for one of Zaramoth's lieutenants. It is crafted from steel mined from the deepest crypts of Zaramoth's most powerful mages, and their dark power infuses it with necromantic strength. The Grimsteel Reaver is eternally hungry for souls, and sucks the life energy out of both its victims and its wielder.

The battle axe is designed for one purpose, and one purpose only - killing as many enemy combatants as possible. Its blade is triple-tempered steel, honed to a razor's edge. Battle axes are mostly wielded by fighters, sometimes two at a time for maximum impact. While its value as a weapon is undeniable, the battle axe is generally more effective in cutting wounded or fleeing enemies to pieces than it is in breaking through an intact enemy line. |
